STUDYING THE UNIFORMITY OF AIR VELOCITY DISTRIBUTION IN ESP FILTER CHAMBER BY CFD-MODEL, PHYSICAL MODEL Duong Van Long1, Le Huy1, Pham Van Thang1 1Vien Nghien cuu Co khi Abstract: The paper presents the evaluated results of the airflow velocity uniformity distribution in the chambers of the Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) through theoretical calculations, CFD-modeling simulation and experiments on physical modeling which applied the 1:14 ratio of sizing in comparison with actual equipment for the units of the 600MW coal thermal power plant. In order to observe the airflow, the materials of the physical modeling of ESP are transparent plastic. In the simulation modeling and physical modeling, the components of gas distribution plate is selected in order for the airflow uniformity in the chambers. The CFD simulation calculations is performed by SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. The experimental results on the physical model show that the deviation of the uniformity of the airflow velocity distribution by theoretical calculations is 5,6% and the CFD simulation is 3,4% compared to the experimentally confirmed Keywords: electrostatic precipitators, CFD, physics modeling, gas distribution. |
